It seemed that 16-year-old Janet Devlin was the hardest hit by Sami Brookes X Factor exit last night, with the teenager visibly tearful as she spoke to Xtra Factor hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs about the 'mum of the house'.
Having moved from Northern Ireland to London for the show, Sami has been looking out for the teenager, and her exit last night casued tears.
She said: "I’m really happy that I’m through but everyone knows that Sami is like my mum in the house, when times were really hard she was there."
Sami reciprocated the feelings, saying on her exit: "Please look after the girls and Janet Devlin. Make sure they get their vitamins and someone washes their clothes. I really worry about them."
Best pal Johnny Robinson - who shared a room with Sami - was also upset, saying: "She is my best friend, we got on really well, we met at bootcamp and previous auditions and I’m sharing a room with Sami as well."
But he joked: "She won’t be able to nick my curly wurlys anymore."
