X Factor 2011: Kelly and Tulisa high five over The Risk's rocking performance

The Risk

X Factor boy group The Risk had all the judges behind them on tonight's show, with Kelly Rowland showing her appreciation for Tulisa's mentoring of the group by giving her a high five. The five piece overcame illness in order to perform Crazy by Gnarls Barkley for the panel.

Kelly told the group: "Guys I’m not going to make excuses for you, but it has been tough. You’ve had two days to learn the song and Ashley you’ve been really ill and I was worried.

"It wasn’t your best performance but you pulled it off and did the best you could do with that song."

Louis Walsh raved: "Well boys I loved it last week and I love it this week. It’s not exactly hard rock but I love the harmonies and the way the four of you sing. There is not just one or two singers in this band. There’s nothing not to like about The Risk."

Gary Barlow added: "Guys I watched the dress rehearsal today and I was worried for you but you totally pulled it off tonight. There is a great work ethic in this band that lots of the other contestants should learn from."

Mentor Tulisa said: "Guys I’m not going to make excuses for you, but it has been tough. You’ve had two days to learn the song and Ashley you’ve been really ill and I was worried. It wasn’t your best performance but you pulled it off and did the best you could do with that song."
