X Factor judge Louis Walsh has criticised both Janet Devlin and Frankie Cocozza, saying the pair need to prove they're more versatile to the viewers. Talking ahead of tonight’s Rock themed show, Louis added that Frankie had a lot of pressure to pull off a good performance this evening.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Louis said: "He started off too well and it is only going downhill.
"He is a bit of a one trick pony. His vocals are not great and he needs to try to turn things around."
And on Janet Devlin the Irish music mogul commented: "I love her doing the slow ballads, but can she do anything else? When she does the slow stuff it is amazing but there is a question mark about how versatile she is."
But Louis had kinder words for the groups.
He said about The Risk: "They are going to be the next big boy band, they have so much talent. It's great what Tulisa has done with them."
And on Rhythmix, he added: "There are no other big girl groups in the UK right now, so they have a great chance. If they do well on the show they could go on and be very successful."
