X Factor judge Gary Barlow has said he's confident that Frankie Cocozza won't be in the bottom two this weekend, saying the teenager will be putting in all the work to make sure his performance tomorrow night goes off without a hitch.
Despite the 18-year-old spending most of the week getting drunk and bedding girls in nightclubs, Gary has insisted the lothario is all set for Rock week.
Asked how he was going to work with Frankie this weekend to avoid a repeat appearance in the bottom two, Gary said: “Hard work, learning the songs, making sure the performances are going to be sharp.
"We have a little work to do with Frankie this week but that’s going to be cool. It’s all part of the journey.”
He continued: “I think whoever is left in the competition, they are always going to have weeks of doubt. Frankie has had his week early and I am really planning on him not going home next weekend, that’s the goal for this week.”
And speaking to last Sunday's Xtra Factor, Gary confessed he didn't expect to see Frankie - or Nu Vibe - in the bottom two: "There was no way I’d have picked those two acts as the bottom two tonight, no way at all.”
