Rumours of an Amy Winehouse tribute week on The X Factor have seemingly been confirmed by the later singer's goddaughter, Dionne Bromfield. Speaking to the Daily Star today, Dionne revealed she would also appear on the show to perform in memory of the star.
Amy died earlier this year in July, aged just 27.
Dionne told the newspaper: "They are doing a tribute episode to Amy and I've been asked to sing something. You'll have to wait and see what I do."
This weekend however it's a case of Rock week, after a last minute change from a Heroes theme saw the contestants having to learn new songs.
An insider said: "Producers wanted to spice things up a bit for viewers and they thought the return of Rock Week would provide plenty of drama.
"It will challenge some of the acts, who have had an easy ride so far."
