New X Factor judge Gary Barlow is apparently "panicking" backstage over the song choices for his acts this weekend, Louis Walsh has claimed. The Irish music mogul hit out at the Take That star's selections for his boys last week, saying the wrong choices were made.
Gary's song choices for Marcus Collins and Frankie Cocozza were both criticised, with Gary admitting to feeling guilty over causing Frankie to find himself in the bottom two during the results.
With a tough rock week ahead of the judges and acts this Saturday, nerves are now setting in.
“[Gary]’s just panicking because I’m the one who picks the best songs each week,” Louis told the official website at ITV.com last night. “Gary made the wrong choices last week – surprising since he’s such a talented songwriter!”
Louis then continued to reveal: “I’ve been Mr Nice Guy for too long. You’re going to see a change in me over the next few weeks – I’m going to be telling it like it is.”
