It's no secret that girl groups struggle on The X Factor, but so far things seem to be going pretty well for Rhytmix. Formed at bootcamp, the four girls are currently on the up for a great performance at the weekend, and it seems they certainly have won over their mums!
Speaking to the Uxbridge Gazette, Leigh-Anne’s mum Debbie was pleased with the girls' performance on Saturday night.
“They all got to show off their vocal strength and showed that they can do different styles, and Leigh-Anne sounded great," she said. “Some of the other acts struggled with their songs, but theirs was a perfect choice and none of judges had anything to say, so we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
“After they got through on Sunday I went backstage to congratulate them, and they were getting mobbed by people wanting autographs.”
Meanwhile Perrie Edwards' mum, also called Debbie, told the Dorset Echo: "Perrie’s doing absolutely brilliantly; she’s loving every minute of it and I’m bursting with pride.
“She says it’s really hard work and they’re rehearsing every day and going over and over the songs but when they got through this weekend it made it all worth it, they felt fantastic."
This weekend Rhythmix and the remaining 11 finalists will be singing Rock songs.
