Boy group The Risk have said that they are "honoured" to be a part of this year’s charity single, due out next month. Lead singer of the group, Charlie Healey, said the boys were looking forward to the profits from the track helping to change other's lives.
He said: “All four boys in The Risk are honoured to be a part of this single, and hopefully make a difference to people's lives."
The Risk have joined forced with the other X Factor finalists - including James Michael, Amelia Lily, 2 Shoes and Jonjo Kerr, who were all axed in the first week - to record a cover of Wishing On A Star by Rose Royce.
The Groups, Overs, Boys and Girls put the completion to one side as they stepped up the mic to lay down their vocals for the song earlier this month.
Marcus Collins said: "It's a fantastic song choice, filled with hope. This song is one of my favourites of all time."
Sultry Sophie Habibis added: "I love this song and can't wait to release it. I hope it does really well and raises a lot of money for the charity."
