Following the decline in The X Factor's ratings over the weekend, the odds of the music moguls return to the show have plummeted, with William Hill now offering 50/1 that he makes a return to the judging panel for one week only.
“There is no doubting that Simon was furious as viewing figures tumbled below 10 million and he could well make an appearance just to shake things up a bit,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
Fresh on the back of the much maligned “twist” during the first weekend of live shows, William Hill are offering 33/1 that this week’s show sees a public vote to oust one of the judges. Hills also go 12/1 that at least one of the judges leaves the show before the Final.
We wonder which of the four will get the chop?
The Risk are the first ever band to become favourites to win the X-Factor betting history and the 9/4 favourites will be hoping to break the duck.
“The Risk have been the subject of a massive gamble with bets of up to £3000 being staked on them to win,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “Our punters seem more than willing to take the risk that a band will finally win the show this year.”
