US star Katy Perry has said she wouldn't mind judging The X Factor, but didn't seem to be getting off to a good start by calling show boss Simon Cowell a twit! The pop princess, who performed on last night's results show, guest judged last year's auditions, and was open up to becoming a full time judge once her tour was over.
She told Olly Murs and Caroline Flack that once she settles down, it'd be an ideal job. The pink haired star added: "I would, yeah maybe if I wasn’t busy all over with touring and concerts"
Speaking about her performance last night, which saw an acoustic take on new single The One That Got Away, Katy explained: “I get more nervous for television than anything because there is always extra pressure they out on you. It’s very important. When I’m on tour it’s kind of my own show and I can be a bit more spontaneous, I’m like a bit of the boss. But I have to be accountable to people here.
"I wanted to show the other side. There are lots of little personalities in me – as every woman has – so I wanted to play on kind of where I came from, which is me and my guitar. I used to play in cafes and open mics and so I decided to do that on The X Factor and show that there is that side to me."
