X Faxtor 2011 hopeful Sophie Habibis has said she feels "blessed to" to be on the show, after surviving the public vote last night. The 19-year-old confessed during Saturday’s performance show that she was worried about not getting enough votes having received little time on screen.
But following a performance of Wherever You Will Go, Sophie and Kelly Rowland's other girls all made it through the first public vote.
Speaking to Olly Murs and Caroline Flack on the Xtra Factor, a delighted Sophie said: "It’s fricking amazing.
"What can I say, thousands of people would want to be where I am and I’m lucky enough to be here and sharing it with some really, really nice people, so I’m blessed right now."
But despite surviving the public vote, judge Gary Barlow had criticised the talented teenager for not having enough spark in her performance.
"I was nervous but I enjoyed it a lot," said Sophie in response t o the Take That star's comments.
"I’m just going to be myself and if people don’t think I have a spark they can think that, but hopefully they keep me in."
