Frankie Cocozza has said he "trusts" mentor Gary Barlow, after the Take That star decided on a second last minute song change. Despite eliminated singer James Michael hitting out at Gary over his song choice last week, Frankie insisted he was confident going into tonight's live show.
James had complained after being kicked out of the competition on Sunday: "I said that I didn't think the song would work, but Gary claimed that he was over the moon with it and I just went with it. If we hadn't picked that song, I think I'd still be there.
"I'd have chosen something current or new like a James Morrison song or a Paulo Nutini."
But Frankie said he has plenty of faith in his mentor.
"Gary thought it'd be funny to change my song," Frankie joked last night. "My boss likes to keep me on my feet."
He added: "But I trust him... he just didn’t think it was working"
Find out what Frankie eventually ends up singing tonight on ITV1!
