It seems it's all going off in The X Factor house. Following reports yesterday that Kitty Brucknell had reduced Janet Devlin to tears, it's now Kitty herself who is claiming to have been bullied - and is threatening to quit the show because of it all.
She supposedly told pals that the current situation in the house is "intolerable" after a number of rows and arguments have left her being shunned by the other finalists.
Show bosses have given the 26-year-old her own room in the hope of keeping the wacky singer on the show, who promised a dark performance tomorrow night.
A show source told The Mirror: “Kitty has clashed with other contestants and some of them really don’t like her. They think she is attention-seeking. We don’t want her to be in any more hostile situations, or risk her feeling bullied, so now she has her own room. She is the first contestant to get their own room this series.
“Hopefully things will settle down now and everyone will concentrate on their singing.
“The last thing we want is Kitty walking out. She is one of the stars of the show.”
An X Factor spokesman confirmed Kitty had been given her own room, but played down claims of bullying between any of the contestants. They said: “Contestant welfare is of paramount importance and activity in the house is supervised at all times.”
