Former X Factor 2011 contestant Terry Winstanley is planning to release a charity Christmas single, it has been revealed this week. The 51-year-old HGV driver failed tomake it through to this year's live shows after being rejected at judges' houses by Louis Walsh.
Terry is teaming up with fellw X Factor reject Jade Richards on the single, which will be in aid of armed forces charity Help for Heroes.
The pair will release the track - written by Terry - called Make Love Not War, on iTunes.
Terry told his local newspaper in Worthing: “I’ve orchestrated this. It’s a huge song and there are going to be some great voices in there.
“I decided to organise it because everyone was texting me after the X Factor and I thought, ‘I can’t handle this. I’ve got to do something’.”
