X Factor 2011: Frankie Cocozza annoyed by Amelia Lily axe

Frankie and Amelia

Following on from yesterday's reports that the pair were dating, it's o surprise to hear that Frankie Cocozza is not at all happy that Amelia Lily was axed from the show last night. Faced with a tough decision, Kelly Rowland let go of the 16-year-old after being forced to chop one of her four acts.

Sophie Habibis, Misha B and Janet Devlin all made the cut in a tense decision.

Speaking about the axe, Amelia said: "I’m just looking at the whole thing as being a massive experience and what an opportunity. This is just the beginning for me and I’ve loved it from day one.

"I got into the final four girls, what an achievement and I’m just looking forward to my future now.

"The highlight of this experience was meeting all the contestants. I love them all in individual ways and the hardest thing is saying bye to them."

Talking about her decision on Xtra Factor, judge Kelly Rowland insisted that Amelia would go on to great things. "She's so talented. I remember her first audition and each performance and I don't think this is the end of the road for her.

"She's only 16 years old and I think this is only the beginning. I remember this part of my career, coming on a huge nationwide TV show and losing and going home and you remember that."

Kelly added: "She'll come back stronger and she will shock the world."

But Frankie Cocozza isn't happy.

He moaned on Twitter last night: "Thank you for the lovely comments, extremely happy gutted for the others who have to leave.. Should have been a different story."

Others who left in the whopping quadruple axe were 2 Shoes, Jonjo Kerr and James Michael.
