Louis Walsh may have claimed he kept in the acts that the public voted, but there seemed to be few fans for X Factor contestant Kitty Brucknell in the studio this evening. The wacky hopeful was seen crying as the audience of the show booed her on spin-off Xtra Factor.
The blonde wannabe was kept in the competition after Louis Walsh sent home Jonjo Kerr on tonight's results show, a choice which didn't seem to sit well with the show's 800 strong live audience.
An angry Caroline Flack at one point told the audience to be quiet as she and co-host Olly Murs tried to talk to the zany singer.
Talking about her performance on next week's show, Kitty said: “I’m going to give it my all and I’m going to bring it next week. I’m going to be fearless for everyone who believed in me.”
Speaking to Telly Mix earlier this week, Kitty told us she was just going to ignor any negativity from critics of her performances.
"To all the critics to and all the people that hate me, I don’t worry about it, it’s not about who hates you, it’s about who loves you. I take all that negativity and dump it in the Grand Canyon," she said. “A really smart guy, Elliot [who works on the show], he told me ‘The easiest routes always lead downhill’
“I don’t really know why there is so much hate in the world, people should embrace difference and I think it’s really sad.”
