X Factor 2011: Gary Barlow blasts Louis for turning Johnny into a "circus act"

Johnny Robinson

X Factor judges Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh clashed into tonight's live show as the Take That star blasted the Irish music mogul for turning contestant Johnny Robinson into a circus act. Following the 45-year-old's performance of Cher's 'Believe', Gary slammed the performance as cheap.

While both Tulisa and Kelly loved the song, with the N-Dubz singer confessed the former drag Queen was her “guilty pleasure", Gary wasn't happy.

He moaned: "I've been absolutely blown away by your performances so far, Johnny... but along comes Louis Walsh he has absolutely turned you into a circus act. I thought it was so disappointing.

"What are you wearing? You look like you're about to go in an oven, I didn't like it at all."

Gary added to host Dermot: "I know Johnny can sing and I found that too cheap."

Defending himself, Louis said: "No Gary, you're missing the fun. This man is living his dream, the great thing about The X Factor is that it gives people like Johnny a chance. Gary, listen to the public, they love him!"
