X Factor boss Simon Cowlel will apparently lose £200,000 this weekend after axing the public vote on Sunday night. In a shock twist, it'll be the judges who decide who goes, as they're each asked to axe one contestant from their own categories.
It's a harsh change to the format that's sure to curse drama and tears, as well as seeing four of the finalists go home after just one week.
And without a public vote, the twist will cost ITV a lot of money in the hopes that the change will boost ratings.
With Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh having to make the tough choice (or not so tough in Tulisa's case), we're sure millions will tune in.
A source told The Sun: "The series has a new judging panel and ITV wants bumper ratings for the first live episodes."
