X Factor 2011 contestant Carolynne Poole has revealed she was gutted to find out Louis Walsh would be mentoring the Overs category. The talented songstress, who was kicked out by Louis in favour of Kitty Brucknell and Johnny Robinson said she was "devastated" about being turned away.
The 30-year-old, who previously competed in BBC One show Fame Academy, had recieved a standing ovation from the judges and audience during her original Manchester audition in July.
But despite wowing at bootcamp and judges' houses, Louis chose Kitty, Johnny, Sami Brookes and Jonjo Kerr for the live shows.
Unrealitytv quote the country singer saying: “Some people have asked me if I’m gutted that I got Louis as a mentor this year, you know, I would have preferred Gary to be honest.”
“Yes I was gutted, devastated that I didn’t go through. Maybe you didn’t see how gutted I was... but I was devastated, I still am devastated. I really wanted to be on that show, I wanted to show you what I could do, I wanted to bring country music to X Factor.”
We don't blame her one bit...
