Despite plenty of criticism over his selection for the final 16, Louis Walsh has said he stands by his acts. The Irish music mogul controversially selected Sami Brookes, Kitty Brucknell, Johnny Robinson and Jonjo Kerr to take part in the live shows, sarting this Saturday.
But despite complaints from fans, after Carolynne Poole and Terry Winstanley both missed out on a place, Louis said yesterday he would standing by his acts.
He told the Daily Mirror: “I absolutely stand by the final four. It’s not just about a person’s vocal, it’s about the whole package.
“No one wants to hear just singers, they want personalities. My acts will more than prove their worth.”
