There are many great things about being an X Factor finalist, but there are of course the negatives, for a start: Everyone knows who you are! And if they don't like you, there are plenty of people who aren't shy to tell you about it to your face. Unfortunately for Frankie, he discovered the hard way when out and about in his hometown on Saturday.
The 18-year-old from Brighton was heckled by crowds screaming "everybody hates you" as he walked through the streets with pals, The Sun reports.
A witness told the newspaper: "Frankie tried to ignore it but he looked stunned. It really shook his confidence.
"He is one of the favourites on the show and hasn't had to put up with this kind of abuse before — like some of the others have, such as Kitty Brucknell.
"But being on such a high profile show, I suppose you have to expect this at some point."
Frankie was last night revealed as one of this year's final 16.
