X Factor 2011: 'No competition' between the boys, says Marcus Collins

Marcus Collins X Factor

X Factor 20111 hopeful Marcus Collins has admitted that he and fellow boys in his category got along well when they travelled to LA earlier this month. Despite the group competing for just four spots in the live shows, the guys were even helping one another out!

Marcus is one of eight young contestants hoping to get a place in the live shows next month, along with John Wilding, Joe Cox, Frankie Cocozza, Luke Lucas, Max Vickers, James Michael and Craig Colton.

Mentored by Gary Barlow and pal Robbie Williams at his Hollywood pad, Marcus revealed the group had bonded over the tough experience.

Speaking to The Crosby Herald, he said: “With us being a group of lads you would think we’d be more competitive.

“But we were all sitting together and helping each other out.”

It'll be revealed on Sunday which of them have made it to the final four!
