New X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos is reportedly feeling 'more alone than ever' since joining the show, having been away for family and friends for months to film the programme. With the intense live shows starting next month until December, sources say the N-Dubz star is struggling with the pressure, and may not return next year.
It comes just a day after her predecessor Cheryl Cole had apparently advised her not to let the show take over her life.
Cheryl apparently said: "Don’t end up like me – I’ve lost the love of my life, several friends and I’m off track with my music because I’ve dedicated everything to that TV show”.
But a source revealed to Star magazine this week: "Tulisa is so close to her mum and family and gets so upset as she is constantly away from them all.
“Her family mean the world to her, and recently when she's been away working on X Factor she has said she's never felt more alone. It's weird, because she is surrounded by people all the time, but not those who matter to her most."
The feisty judge is also finding it hard to cope with the press scrutiny surrounding every aspect of her life now she's joined The X Factor.
The insider continued: "she doesn't get why there is all this speculation about her past and her love life. It’s all new to her and it's a side of the job she is very uneasy with."
And in worrying news for show bosses, the source added: "She has even said she doesn’t know if she can handle coming back next year."
