X Factor 2011 hopeful Joe Cox has revealed all on Gary Barlow’s competitive nature, saying that the Take That star won't let the other judges get the better of him. The talented teenager is one of eight boys competing for a place in the final 16 at judges' houses this weekend.
He told STV: “Having Gary Barlow as a mentor, everyone was just like ecstatic. Its incredible knowing that this man, who has been such a central figure to this industry, is actually going to be mentoring us and taking us to LA is incredible. It’s crazy.
“I personally think Gary is the most competitive but he keeps it under his belt. He’s so cool and laidback but he won’t let the judges get the better of him. He’s there to win.”
Meanwhile Joe also confirmed that Frankie Cocozza was very much as he came across on the TV, saying he "topped the chart" when it came to flirting with the female contestants!
Joe explained: “Tulisa keeps calling me a ladies’ man. I’ve been branded that and when it comes to girls I’ll have a go and do my best, but Frankie tops the chart. He’s without question the most flirty.”
