Early X Factor 2011 favourites Lascel Wood and John Adams were amongst some of the top talent to be axed during tonight's final bootcamp phase, as the judges picked the final 32 contestants. The pair failed to make it through to the final eight boys, who found out they'd be mentored by Gary Barlow.
"I'm not going to give up, I'm going to keep on going," Lascel said.
Also missing out on a place in the next round were wacky duo Kendro, who were sent home after performing their own track at Wembley.
In the Over 25s, and Michelle Barrett - who reduced Tulisa to tears with her original audition - was also sent packing.
Former Twisted member Chrissie Pitt and rock god wannabe David Wilder also both failed to make it through to judges' houses.
