New X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has revealed how her mum called to tell her to stop crying after watching Saturday's show, thinking the audition - which was filmed back in July - was actually being broadcast live on ITV1.
The N-Dubz star broke down in tears as mum-of-four Michelle Barrett wowed the judges with her voice. Tulisa told Michelle: "You remind me of my mum. It was brilliant.”
But it all got a bit too much for the brunette beauty, as she started sobbing and recalling her own mother's ambitions to become a star.
Through tears, Tulisa said: "Me and my mum have got this really powerful relationship - she’s the reason that I sing. She had the most powerful voice and never did anything with it - you know, she had me, she became unwell and then you know, she spent her life still singing in the kitchen, and I wish she’d got up and done that because she has a voice just like that."
Writing on Twitter, Tulisa revealed: "My mum called me tonight going 'Are you OK', love? Stop crying'. It's not live yet mum! I'm sitting eating my dinner! She cracks me up."
Tulisa became a career for mum Ann at just 11-years-old, after she was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder - a combination of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
