Big hair loving Megan Burke is set to show Wales has talent as The X Factor 2011 auditions move to Cardiff this weekend, even if the teenager herself comes from Ireland! According to Wales Online, Megan Burke is set to storm the show during the final auditions of the show.
She's set to complete an already hugely talented girls category, which also includes [tag]Amelia Lily[/tag] and [tag]Melanie McCabe[/tag]. We're not sure how the judges will cut them down to eight for judges' houses, let alone how one unlucky (or, rather very lucky) judge will be forced to try and whittle them down to just four.
19-year-old [tag]Megan Burke[/tag] performed Alicia Keys’ track Fallin’ earlier this year, with US star Kelly Rowland an instant fan.
As the audience stood on their feet after the performance, Kelly apparently raved: “There is a star in Cardiff. There’s nowhere else to go but up for you babe.”
It's also another big name to add to this year's Irish hopefuls, which also include early X Factor favourite [tag]Janet Devlin[/tag].
Louis Walsh told the Evening Herald: "There's loads of Irish acts but we haven't done our final bootcamp yet so nothing is confirmed. The acts have to be really, really good to get through. The standard this year has gone through the roof."
Other acts who are set to make an appearance this weekend according to the local paper include 17-year-old [tag]Chelsea Redfern[/tag], who's rendition of Etta James' At Last received a standing ovation, and [tag]John Adams[/tag], a model turned Maths teacher.
The X Factor 2011 concludes this weekend on ITV1.
