X Factor's Cher Lloyd has suggested that it's 'no big deal' that her former mentor Cheryl Cole has ignored her, saying: "I didn't really get dumped, did I?" The 17-year-old is set to release her debut single 'Swagger Jagger' at the end of next month, with the video set for release in three days time.
Cher previously revealed how Cheryl Cole hadn't contacted her since the show finished in December of last year, but said she still spoke to show boss Simon Cowell.
Speaking to the BBC however, Cher didn't seem to annoyed with the snub. She said: "I didn't really get dumped, did I? I'm working, so is she. She's busy as well. I don't know what the big deal is with that. She isn't my mum, she isn't my auntie or my sister."
Cher added: "I don't think it's a big deal her staying in touch with me. That was a TV show. This is my time now."
The youngster's debut single will be released on July 31 with another single and album following in the autumn.
