Runners up of The X Factor in 2008 JLS have said they want to return to the show this year to help mentor the latest bunch of singers. According to The Sun the group - made up of Oritse Williams, Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes and JB Gill - have been "begging" Louis Walsh to help out!
Oritse Williams told the newspaper this afternoon: "We've had a word with Louis and we said, 'Louis, look, if you need some mentors, we'll be there.'
"So let's see what happens."
Meanwhile singer Aston reckons Cheryl Cole's departure from the UK show could prove difficult for this year's series: "She was on the English X Factor first and what she did here, and what she brought here, was incredible," he said.
However the 23-year-old added he felt that Cole would be a huge success in the states, and was doing Britain proud. Aston continued: "She's flying the flag right now.
"Great personality, beautiful smile, great charisma and I think to take that over to the US right now is going to be great for this country, let alone for the US as well."
JLS are expected to release their third album later this year but in the meanwhile the group will be on tour with fellow X Factor runner up Olly Murs, with both acts playing huge summer gigs next month.
