Following in the steps of Madonna and Fleetwood Mac is... Cheryl Cole. At least according to The Sun that is! The X Factor judge is to become the latest singer to have her music covered by hit telly series Glee, in what is hoped will help launch her career in the states.
The paper claims that series creator Ryan Murphy will be looking to transform the Girls Aloud's (wonderful) solo track 'Parachute' into a "spectacular group number" to be aired in the third season which starts in September this year.
A source told the newspaper: "Ryan thinks Cheryl is brilliant and he loves the song.
"If this works out it would be a dream come true for Cheryl. Glee is one of the biggest shows in America - you can't buy publicity like that. This news could be just the thing to convince X Factor bosses to finally confirm her publicly for the American show. If she appears on both it's a recipe for global superstardom."
Other stars who have had their music covered include every from Lady GaGa to Sir Elton John to Ke Dollar Sign Ha.
