Simon Cowell's plans to bring back Top Of The Pops have been put on the back burner recently, but the music mogul revealed this week he and his team were still working on the idea of a huge new music show. The telly guru however told reporters that the new show would be global.
The 51-year-ols said: "It's not cost effective just doing it in the UK. To do it properly it would need to be bigger than one country."
Top Of The Pops was axed after more than 40 years on the BBC and now only airs on Christmas and New Years day. However won't be expecting Cowell's replacement on air anytime soon as he warned: "It's for a year down the line."
Cowell added: "There is always room for more music, we will be doing something on Saturday nights.”
