Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has described herself as the 'God' of the new judging panel in an interview with the Sunday Mirror, being the only original member of the panel to remain seated behind the Britain's Got Talent judging desk.
Speaking to the newspaper, Amanda appeared to enjoy being the head of the new panel, where she sits alongside David Hasselhoff and Michael McIntyre. Her former co-stars Simon Cowell, who is returning for the live shows, and Piers Morgan, who is currently fronting a daily talk show in America, were famed for their large egos, which appear to have brushed off upon the actress.
She said "Simon will return for part of the live finals but we're getting on fine without him. Piers is old hat. I'm top dog now. Like God."
The return of the show this weekend will mark the beginning of a busy period for Amanda, who is also set to be starring in the West End stage show Shrek the Musical from May onwards.
Britain's Got Talent returns this Saturday at 8.20pm.
