The Daily Star today have revealed the ideal line up Channel 5 want on Celebrity Big Brother when it returns to telly screens on the channel this August. The report this morning names the broadcaster's 'shopping list' of 12 celebs it hopes will turn the reality show back into a ratings winner.
Former Harrods boss Mohamed Al-Fayed and US star Charlie Sheen are amongst the names that feature in the list, as do The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs and Prince Harry’s on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy. Ex-Sky Sports presenter Andy Gray and zeleb star Peaches Geldof also appear in the article.
The paper claims that rapper Tinie Tempah, actress Joanna Lumley and model Abbey Clancy are all wanted for the programme. As are Soap actress Samara Weaving and sporting champion Ricky Hatton.
A source told the tabloid today: "We’ve got our wish list of celebrities that we want and we’re going to do everything we can to persuade them to enter the house. We want people like Charlie Sheen and Peaches Geldof, who we’re confident would be TV gold inside the house.
“And watching someone like the billionaire businessman Mohamed Al-Fayed living alongside those two is bound to provide some classic TV moments."
Celebrity Big Brother is expected to return on Channel 5 this summer.
