Katie told the Daily Record ahead of the first night of the tour later this month: "I hope people give me credit so I can enjoy the performance. I have thought about it and whether people will boo, but I have to think positive.
The singer added: "I'm doing something I absolutely love and am really passionate about, so hopefully there won't be a repeat of the controversial drama."
In the interview, Katie also revealed about how she felt during last year’s show as the pressure and tabloid stories grew, saying: "Some of what was said was hurtful. It was a tough time. There were great times but there were crappy times.
"But I had to put things in perspective. There were people out there who believed in me and supported me."
The youngster however was confident and said she was going to hold her head high during the tour, whatever may happen. "I not going to crumble because there are some people out there giving me a chance," Katie told the tabloid. "I want to do something to show them my thanks and appreciation."
