Let's Dance 2013 line up: Tim Vine, Ricky Hatton, John Culshaw join show

Steve and Alex Let's Dance

Tim Vine, Ricky Hatton, Nina Conti and John Culshaw and a host of other stars will be donning their dancing shoes as entertainment extravaganza, Let’s Dance 2013 for Comic Relief kicks off later this year.

Fronted once again by Alex Jones and Steve Jones, the showdown kicks off on the 16 February and will span four weeks, with three star-studded Saturday night heats culminating in a grand final on the 9 March. Each week, viewers at home will get the chance to vote for their favourite act who will gain a place in the final.

Once again, our dancing celebrities will be judged each week by a panel of top TV personalities that will feature such comic legends as Frank Skinner and Jo Brand. Each week, the judges will choose from the runners up to join the viewer’s favourite in the final. There will also be a music performance from a chart topping artist each week.

Last year’s series, which raised money for Sport Relief saw Only Way Is Essex stars Amy Childs and Harry Derbridge battle it out with legendary skier Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards, as Scott Mills and Olly Murs took on comedian Omid Djalili. Wiping the dance floor with them all was Roland Rivron, who stole audience hearts and votes and won the show with a dazzling routine to Fatboy Slim’s 'Weapon of Choice'.

Alex Jones said: “I'm ridiculously excited to be back on Let's Dance. We have some of our best comedians as panellists, and an unbelievable line-up of brave celebrities who are all prepared to don their dancing shoes to raise lots of money for this year’s Red Nose Day.

"Earlier this year Steve and I went out to Malawi to visit a number of projects funded by Comic Relief, and we can't wait to get stuck in, knowing that the money raised this Red Nose Day will go towards helping families in Africa and in the UK that desperately need it."

Steve Jones added: "It’s still the most fun I have on TV, so I am ecstatic Let’s Dance is back with a whole host of famous faces along with famous arms, legs, necks and fingers all attempting to dance for our viewing pleasure!"
