X Factor star Rylan Clark has said that he doesn't expect Gary Barlow will ever change his opinon.
Speaking earlier in the series, Rylan said he was hoping to eventually win over the Take That star.
Speaking to the official ITV1 X Factor website, Rylan said: “I have absolute respect for Gary as a mentor and as a musician. I really want to win him over – I don’t want there to be a war between us.
“I reckon by the end of the series we’ll be bessie mates –move over Robbie, I am taking your place!”
However last night saw Gary once again slate Rylan's performance, after he sung a mashup of Rhianna's Don't Stop The Music and JLo's On The Floor for club classics week.
Gary Barlow blasted: "My problem is that for every week you're here another talented contestant will be going home. You always say you're a dance act, you should have been the best performer tonight but you were the worst."
And it seems like it's a comment that has forced Rylan to give in trying to persuade Gary!
Speaking on Xtra Factor last night, Rylan admitted: "I think it's going to be like this [between me and Gary] every week.
"I don't think Gary will ever change. He will still be bring me up once I've gone!"
