ITV1 has announced that Simon Cowell gameshow Red Or Black? will return for a second series later this year, with a tweaked, weekly format.
More 'high octane' stunts, nerve-wracking challenges and celebrity guests have been promised, while Ant and Dec will return as presenters.
But a new twist will see the prize money roll over to the next show if it's not won. It will start at £500,000, and could rise to a massive £3.5million.
Contestants will also have to use 'skill and judgement' to win after the Gambling Commission launched an investigation in to the show, accusing it of 'glamourising' betting. According to Broadcast, the original final round - which saw contestants spin a giant roulette wheel - has now been scrapped.
ITV's Director of Television Peter Fincham explained: "We have developed Red or Black? and built on what we did with the first series.
"The scale of the challenges will still be huge but this time around, contestants will have more control over their own destinies as they are able to use their skill and judgement in an attempt to win big money prizes."
Ant and Dec said: "Red or Back? is an extravaganza of a show, it's the most nerve-wracking thing to work on but hugely exciting with so much at stake for the contestants. We're really excited to be going again with the new series."
Simon Cowell added: "One of the things I love most about this show is that it’s exciting, unpredictable, scary, and a bit nuts all in one.
"I’m delighted it’s back and am excited about the possibility of rollover winnings and some even bigger games."
The first series of Red or Black, which aired last September, was critically panned and failed to draw the high ratings ITV hoped for, with an average of five million viewers tuning in.
