Simon Cowell's attempt at a gameshow looks to have failed, with Red or Black set to be axed from ITV1.
The series first launched last year, but received disappointing ratings and struggled with bad press after winners included a former criminal.
The show returned this year with a new weekly format and improved games, but viewers still haven't taken to it.
Last Saturday's episode didn't manage to pull in over 4 million viewers, despite being sandwiched between The X Factor and Jonathan Ross in the schedules.
“Ant and Dec have a huge, loyal fanbase but if a format doesn’t interest people then there is only so much they can do," a source told The Sun this week.
The insider explained: "They have done two series and it still hasn’t worked. They’re not jumping up and down about it, but it’s highly unlikely they’ll make more.
“Their focus is on I’m A Celebrity and Saturday Night Takeaway.”
A spokeswoman for ITV commented: “No decison has been taken on a new series. We are concentrating on the current run.”
Despite the lack of viewers, the show has seen some of the biggest ever prizes in UK telly history being given away, with the latest winner scooping £1.5 million.
