The Chase is set to undergo a big change on ITV this year.
The channel is planning to mash up the format with Family Fortunes, making a The Chase Family spin-off.
The new series will air on Saturday nights - rather than weeknights - and see families take on the Chasers.
Executive producer Michael Kelpie told Broadcast (via DigitalSpy): "They know each other's strengths and weaknesses, they've discussed a strategy beforehand but of course, that can all mean nothing when they go face-to-face against one of the UK's finest quiz brains.
"The Family Chase complements both the daytime weekday and celebrity primetime shows. With even more fun and banter between Bradley, chasers and the families, it still delivers all the core values that has made The Chase a firm favourite with the viewers."
The Chase has so far aired for over 1,000 episodes including Celebrity spin-offs but there is no end in sight.
Chaser Jenny Ryan aka The Vixen has insisted neither she nor her fellow Chasers would ever walk out.
“We feel so lucky. We were amateur quizzers but now we get to do it for a living. So there’s no way any of us Chasers would walk out," she said.
Jenny went on to boast about the show's viewing figures with the series currently pulling in up to 4 million viewers each evening, more than primetime weekend shows.
“When you’re watching at home you’re able to get quite a few right. We dominate the ratings – each night between 5pm and 6pm we are top," Jenny declared.
