The Crystal Maze returned to our screens last night and viewers already want more.
Hosted by Stephen Merchant and filmed at The Crystal Maze Experience in London, the episode saw five celebrities take on the Aztec, Medieval, Futuristic and Industrial zones before sending them in to face the fans in the iconic Crystal Dome.
Football legend and BT Sport presenter Rio Ferdinand, and acclaimed actress Michelle Keegan hoped to crack the crystal in this special edition of the legendary gameshow.
Completing the celebrity team were Paralympics champ Jonnie Peacock, TV and radio host Sara Cox, and comedian Josh Widdicombe.
The show returned some 21 years after it last aired in the 1990s and the nostalgia was strong with those tuning in.
The praise was almost unanimous from viewers, who have called on Channel 4 to give the show a brand new full series.
Stephen Merchant's role as host also won over fans of the show as the comic took over from original presenter Richard O'Brien, who made a cameo appearance via video.

10/10 for #TheCrystalMaze - genuinely one of the best shows of my childhood and unlike most revivals hasn't ruined the memories
