The Crystal Maze celebrities taking part in tonight’s special revealed

Celebrities will take on The Crystal Maze for a Xmas special this evening period.

There’s snow place like dome, as famous faces take part in the revived classic game show for Stand Up To Cancer.

Maze Master Richard Ayoade will once again be leading a celebrity team of contestants through the Crystal Maze, this time for a special Christmas edition in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.

The celebrity team taking on the Maze in this celebrity special are comedian Tom Davis, pro boxer Nicola Adams, reality star Ollie Locke, singer Mollie King and captained by swimming champ Ellie Simmonds.

The Aztec, Medieval, Industrial and Futuristic zones are festooned with festive frivolity. They will face a range of skill, mystery, physical and mental challenges to win crystals that equate to time in the final test – the legendary Crystal Dome.

Puzzling the plucky participants along the way will be The Knight (Jessica Hynes) and Jarhead (Adam Buxton).

The series is filmed at The Bottle Yard Studios in Bristol, where a purpose built maze spanning over 30,000 square feet is being created by the original Crystal Maze designer, James Dillon (The Mighty Boosh, The Royle Family).

The Crystal Maze: Celebrity Christmas Special for Stand Up To Cancer airs this evening at 9PM on Channel 4.

Earlier celebrity specials of The Crystal Maze saw stars including Strictly Come Dancing winner Ore Oduba, TOWIE’s Lydia Bright, dancer Louie Spence, The Last Leg’s Alex Brooker and reality star Vicky Pattison entered The Crystal Maze.
