Here is the UK's 2017's Eurovision entry performance from Lucie Jones this evening.
The UK Eurovision entry 2017 was confirmed back in January and Lucie represented us in Ukraine tonight with song Never Give Up On You, which was co-written by 2009 winner Emmelie de Forest.
Lucie said: “Never Give Up On You means a great deal to me and I think the video is full of emotion and passion, the way I feel when I perform the song. I hope Eurovision fans around the world will enjoy watching it as much as I have making it.”
Lucie performed 18th of the 26 finalists tonight and it went down well - at least with British viewers.
Originally considered a rank outsider, the former X Factor finalist's chances of taking the title in Ukraine at the weekend have been slashed ahead of tonight's show.
Following rehearsals of her performance of Never Give Up On You, Lucie is now ranked as one of the top ten contenders.
And although she still faces quite the battle for victory - the UK last won 20 years ago now - Lucie is confident it's possible.
“I don’t look at the odds to be honest. I was favourite to win when I was on X Factor and I got kicked out to Jedward," the Welsh songstress pointed out. “So I don’t really bother with odds.
"It’s wonderful they are there as people want to see them, but I don’t take any notice myself. I’m going there to do well but I’m prepared for anything.”
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper ahead of Eurovision 2017 on Saturday, Lucie continued: “I’d really like to get on the top half of the board. I just want to do well. I’ll hopefully sing Never Give Up On You as well as I can. I just hope people connect with the song on the night.
“I’ve had a lot of good feedback from all over the world. Hopefully, that translates into votes and I’ll do really well on the night.”
