There's sad news for millions of telly fans today as Harry Hill has suggested that his hit show TV Burp will end in March with a 'huge finale'.
The future of the ITV1 programme has long been in question. Last October, the comedian said that 'no decisions' had been made, despite admitting to being 'exhausted' from the amount of work it involves.
However, he parted ways with his long term manager Jon Thoday in December over 'creative differences', and it was later claimed that Burp's producers are considering replacing Hill with a new presenter.
Writing on his website yesterday, Harry gave his strongest hint yet that he has finally opted to quit, announcing: "The New (and it seems last) series of TV Burp starts up on the 4th Feb and finishes 8 shows later at the end of March in a huge finale - SO MAKE THE MOST OF IT !!!"
The BAFTA-winning show begun in 2002 and has aired over 140 episodes.
