Little Mix have rubbished rumours of a rift as they start work on a sixth studio album.
The group – Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards – rose to fame on The X Factor in 2011.
They became the first group to ever win the contest and have gone on to release five best selling albums and countless hit singles.
Appearing at the Radio 1 Teen Awards at the weekend, Jade and Perrie revealed the ladies were in the studio working on their latest record.
“We go back into the studio next week to start writing our next album so we can’t wait to do that,” Jade shared.
Meanwhile, Perrie dismissed rumours of a rift between the four-piece.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “We’ve always had rumours the past few years.
“But that comes with being in a girl band. People assume that girls don’t get along with girls.”
Last week saw Little Mix release their first ever Christmas song One I’ve Been Missing which is available now to stream an download.
Already bookies are tipping the song for the Christmas number 1 spot.
Meanwhile, 2020 will see Little Mix launch their own talent show on BBC One.
Little Mix The Search will welcome incredibly talented singers to become members of all-female, all-male or mixed bands.
Little Mix said: “We want to create lots of incredible groups who really gel. As we have been there and done it ourselves, we know what it takes to make a group successful, and will be there to mentor them every step of the way.
“We want solo artists to audition as well as groups and every type of genre is welcome too. It’s going to be really exciting and people can apply right now!”
