Megan McKenna leads Celebrity X Factor song downloads

Megan McKenna is once again leading downloads from Celebrity X Factor’s latest live performances.

Last Saturday evening (November 9) saw the third live episode of the new Celebrity X Factor, which welcomes familiar faces from the worlds of music, film, sport, television and social media to compete for a life-changing recording contract.

Megan performed another original song called Half of My Heart which received praise from judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh.

The performance saw Megan sail through to the next live show and now her latest track is heading up the charts, currently in the iTunes top 20.

It’s one of three of Megan’s original songs currently in the iTunes top 100.

Her song This from the first live show is at Number 35 while last week’s song Stronger is at Number 46.

Although all of the latest performances have been released to iTunes, No Love Lost are the only other act in the charts.

Despite being eliminated, the Love Island supergroup performed original song Money Where Your Mouth Is which is currently at Number 56.

No Love Lost ended up in the bottom three alongside V5 and Martin Bashir in Saturday’s results.

With the fewest votes from the public, Martin was immediately eliminated.

V5 and No Love Lost went forward to the sing off, where both Louis and Nicole voted for No Love Lost to go ahead of V5.

The X Factor: Celebrity series continues Saturday nights on ITV.

The next round of live performances airs next weekend on November 16 from 8:20PM.
