X Factor’s new Celebrity series has seen stars from the worlds of music, film, sport, television and social media come together as they compete to win a life-changing recording contract.

Saturday night (October 26) saw the first live show and it was chat show host Ricki Lake AND American actress Olivia Olson who left The Celebrity X Factor in a double elimination.

This weekend saw all 13 acts who made it through the auditions perform live for the first time.

Each of the judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh was given a safe seat, able to send one of their acts straight through to next weekend’s show.

In the Groups, Simon saved rugby Trio Try Star (Thom Evans, Ben Foden and Levi Davis), in the Unders, Louis saved Jonny Labey and in the Overs, Nicole saved Jenny Ryan.

The remaining acts faced the public vote via The X Factor app where viewers got the chance to vote for their favourite.

Host Dermot O’Leary then revealed the results, first announcing the bottom three acts in no particular order as Olivia Olson, Ricki Lake and Martin Bashir.

Dermot then revealed that Ricki had received the fewest votes and was eliminated.

It was then down to the judges to decide which of Olivia or Martin to send home.

Louis sent home Martin while Nicole and Simon both sent home Olivia. With two votes to one, Olivia was voted off alongside Ricki.

Now eleven acts are left in the running to be crowned the winner of The X Factor: Celebrity and winning a record deal.

Those left in the competition are Louis with the Unders made up of EastEnders actor Jonny Labey, Glee star Kevin McHale, and reality TV personality Megan McKenna.

Nicole is in charge of the Overs, with her category including Coronation Street actress Victoria Ekanoye, TV newsreader and journalist Martin Bashir, footballer turned actor Vinnie Jones, The Chase’s Jenny Ryan.

Finally, Simon is mentoring the groups made up of rugby trio Try Star, Love Island supergroup No Love Lost, social media influencers V5 and duo Max & Harvey.

The X Factor: Celebrity series continues Saturday nights on ITV.
