The exclusive, behind-the-scenes show will follow Tyson Fury and his larger than life family, giving viewers an unprecedented insight into the life of one of the most fascinating and controversial figures in British sport.

Provisionally titled Meet The Furys, the show follows the Gypsy King and his nearest and dearest as he fulfils his childhood dream of defending his heavyweight boxing lineal championship in Las Vegas and prepares to take on his arch-rival Deontay Wilder for a second time.

Filmed over several months, the series will have a ringside seat inside Tyson’s Morecambe home and at the gypsy kings family site, candidly capturing him amongst his inner circle of family and friends who have lived through Tyson’s mental health and addiction issues with him.

Wife Paris and their five children, Dad John, who trained him to become a champion boxer from when he was 8 years old, Tyson’s brothers and a rich cast of friends and the broader Fury clan all feature in this four-part series.

The series combines a warm and at times emotional family saga with raw and unflinching scenes of Tyson preparing for the fight against German Tom Schwarz and September’s Otto Wallin bout to reveal the most complete and intimate portrait of the Gypsy King ever seen.

Meet The Furys [WT] was commissioned by Kate Teckman, Head of Development Factual Entertainment, and Sue Murphy, Head of Factual Entertainment, at ITV.

Kate said: “This is a unique opportunity to gain an insight into this enigmatic figure whose battles inside and outside the ring have made him one of the most talked about people in popular culture.

“With unprecedented access, this series aims to offer a full picture of Tyson Fury and his background that is sure to pin viewers to the ropes.”
