Born to Shine sees ITV join forces with Save the Children as each week our celebrities’ performances will help raise money for the charity as they attempt to win a place in the grand final.
Natasha, who is an ambassador for Save the Children, says: “The programme will see some very talented children passing on their skills to a range of top celebrities. I am excited by the prospect of seeing how the famous faces tackle the challenges and delighted that they’re all doing it to help raise money for Save the Children, a charity very close to my heart.”
Born to Shine will showcase some of the UK’s most gifted children who will mentor the celebrities as they learn a new skill. Each week three of the celebrities will take to the stage and perform their new skill live to the nation, these will include playing electric guitar, rapping, tap-dancing, playing the harp and beatboxing.
Under the watchful eye of their young mentors, the celebrities will be hoping they can hold their nerve as they perform to impress both the public and a judging panel, headed by Denise Van Outen.
The celebrities taking part tonight are Jason Manford (Opera) Jennie Bond (Marimba) Jorgie Porter (Michael Jackson / Street Dance)
