Series 1 of BBC drama Baptiste is now available to purchase on DVD, Blu-Ray and streaming.

The new thrilling six-part drama from the creators of The Missing, starring Tchéky Karyo as the insightful but stubborn investigator Julien Baptiste, wrapped up recently on BBC One.

French detective Julien Baptiste, who first appeared in The Missing series one and two, returned in the titular role for spin-off.

It proved a hit and now the full series is available to buy on DVD and Blue-Ray

Alongside Baptiste, a box set of The Missing series 1 and 2 is also available now.

Meanwhile according to The Sun, a second series of Baptiste is planned following the first run of six episodes coming to an end.

The minds behind the show, Jack and Harry Williams previously told the tabloid: “We definitely want to do more Baptiste.

“I think in writing [Baptiste] we had some ideas about where he might go and in future series, we’ll tell a complete trilogy.

“This is the beginning with a bigger arc for Julien and new characters.”

The cast of Baptiste included Tchéky Karyo as Julien Baptiste, Tom Hollander as Edward Stratton, Jessica Raine as Genevieve Taylor, Boris Van Severen as Niels and Barbara Sarafian as Martha.
