Hosted by comedian Rob Beckett, All Together Now 2019 concluded its run on Saturday evening (April 13).

The second ever All Together Now winner was named as Shellyann Evans was crowned champion.

She won the night with a perfect score of 100 for her performance of Sia’s Alive.

A tearful Shellyann reacted: “Oh my god! Thank you so much!”

Asked what she planned to do with the £50,000 prize money, she added: “I’m going to get married!”

Shellyann, who previously appeared on The Voice UK in 2015, follows in the footsteps of 19-year-old Michael Rice from Hartlepool who won the first series last year.

In All Together Now 2019, over five heats, a range of talented performers took to the stage to perform in front of The 100 – a unique panel of music experts and singers from all over the UK, led by Spice Girl Geri Horner.

Each act performed for The 100, willing them to vote with their voices, and stand up and join in. The greater the number that stood up and sing along, the higher the act’s score.

In each heat, two acts made it through to the final where they performed again.

Tonight, the Final of All Together Now saw ten finalists compete to be crowned series champion.

The finalists each performed a song hoping to get Spice Girl Geri Horner and as many members of The 100 up on their feet joining in. The three acts with the highest scores had to then perform one final time in a make or break sing off with a brand new song.

The scores were reset to zero, and with so much at stake which act will have more of The 100 up on their feet singing along to become champion?

Taking to the stage were male group Xavier, who sailed into the final with an impressive score of 97 as The 100 responded to their slick harmonies; and vocal powerhouse Bernadette who secured a massive 99 in her heat’s sing off.

Other acts included call centre worker Lywis, Nicola a full-time mum from Manchester, theatre usher Ben, Welsh teaching assistant Shellyann, trainee doctor Aron and performers Southern Flavor, who aim to keep the vibe alive with another upbeat number.
